This strategy is one of the most common in betting circles. The strategy involves backing one of the teams playing a particular game to end in a draw. This strategy is a little easy for beginners given that there are only three outcome possibilities and things like additional (extra)-time and penalties do not count in these types of bets. It is also commonly known as 1X2 strategy.
This strategy is simple to use. For example, let’s say you want to bet on the English Premier League. You select a match between Liverpool and Southampton and the bookie’s odds are as follows: Liverpool is 4/7, a draw is 16/5 and the visiting team which in this case is Southampton is at 11/2.
It is a very straightforward way of placing a bet and all you need to do is to predict the team that wins the match or whether the end result would be a draw and you are good to go.
However, although this strategy may seem very easy, a punter will need to put more effort into this whole betting thing considering that it’s a highly volatile industry and there are no guarantees.
